Julia Goodwin, Sr. Manager, Optimity Advisors:  Julia Goodwin has over 17 years of experience in designing, developing and managing successful IT-Client teams. She now draws upon a broad and deep knowledge of Content Acquisitions, Metadata, Rights, Scheduling, International, Consumer Products and Digital Asset Management to provide strategy and innovation advisement for businesses through the lens of technologies and processes that lead to greater exploitation of assets and increased profits. Change management is an important part of such advisement in the rapidly evolving and disruptive media management marketplace. Managing projects with agility, creativity and making complex problems...and their solutions...self-evident and revealing to clients is her sweet spot.

 

Robin Wilson, VP of Business Development, NAGRA:  As VP of Business Development at NAGRA, Robin Wilson’s responsibilities include ensuring that the company’s current and future solutions are developed and applied whenever new opportunities or markets arise. Robin has over 25 years of international broadcast technology experience in companies that include BBC, NBC, RCA, DiviCom, Grass Valley and Modulus Video where he has held various marketing, engineering, management and founding positions.  Robin has participated in and presented at many industry organizations including SMPTE, EBU, IBC, ATIS, IEEE and NATAS. He graduated with a BSc. degree in Applied Physics (EE) from Dundee University, Scotland, and holds a watermarking patent.

 

Thomas Siegman, Executive Vice President, Innovation, Strategy & Client Relations, RSG Media: Since the year 2000, Tom has worked with RSG’s clients to discern opportunities and devise strategies to take advantage of emerging technologies, manage their content rights, improve customer experience; and leverage advanced mathematics to optimize ad revenues. Before joining RSG Tom was a domestic brand manager in Japan for one of Japan’s largest consumer packaged goods company. He has conducted business in 40 countries on 6 continents, speaks Japanese fluently, and is a member of MENSA. Tom received his MBA from Thunderbird – The Garvin School of International Business, and his BA from Oberlin.

 

Rajan Samtani, SVP, Sales & Bus Development, Peer Media Technologies: a leading anti-piracy services firm serving the filmed entertainment, music, and digital content publishing markets. Raj has more than 16 years of senior business development and strategic marketing experience in DRM, security, digital content identification, and intellectual property (IP) licensing. Prior to joining Peer Media, he was a senior Business Development consultant at Huawei. Prior to that, Raj was Senior Director, Business Development at Digimarc, where he was responsible for IP licensing, market development and building strategic partnerships in the audio/visual industries. Before Digimarc, Raj was at ContentGuard orchestrating the adoption of DRM and rights language technologies and standards for content owners, operators and device manufacturers. Raj holds several patents related to the fields of DRM and Digital Watermarking.
