Ward served as Senior Vice President, Information Operations and Content Licensing at Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE). He was the senior executive responsible for data operations feeding the global B2B supply chain and managed the global P&L in Stock Footage and Motion Picture Clip Licensing. Previously, as Vice President of Corporate Operations, he managed the assessment and planning phase for Sony's end-to-end integrated file-based digital supply chain. Before joining SPE, Ward produced two independent feature motion pictures: 1999 Sundance Opener and Sony Pictures Classics release SLC Punk! (starring Matthew Lillard, Devon Sawa and Annabeth Gish), and Magicians (starring Claire Forlani and Alan Arkin). Prior to producing, Ward served as Director of Production for Blue Tulip Productions based at Twentieth Century Fox and Director of Development at Michael Peyser Productions based at the Walt Disney Company. Ward holds an M.B.A. from UCLA's Anderson School of Management and a B.A. in Economics from the University of Minnesota.

 

Steve Ehrlich, Business Development, Hewlett Packard: Previously, Mr Ehrlich was the President & CEO of SEE Media focusing on Corporate Strategy and Business Development. Previous to starting SEE Media, Mr. Ehrlich oversaw strategic direction & sales for Verizon Digital Media Services which provided a utility for the media industry. He supported the creation of new business models with cross platform delivery leveraging the network and dynamic advertising technologies with data base analytics. Ehrlich was at IBM for over 20 years where he was leading sales in the Global Media and Entertainment practice. In that position his responsibilities included global oversight of media-related consulting projects including due diligence efforts for mergers and acquisitions, development of business strategies for new technology ventures such as video on demand and broadband with the creation of comprehensive anti-piracy strategies for motion picture studios and trade associations. He also devised plans for companies to offer on demand electronic sell-through for movies, cable television networks, television programming and music. Ehrlich held leading positions at interactive and Internet businesses within IBM where he managed all aspects of new media business, including content, sales, business and technology development, and distribution. While at IBM, Ehrlich successfully launched web businesses of the most visible global brands in sports which included PGA, PGA Tour, NHL, NBA ,USTA and NFL. Ehrlich has worked in both strategic planning and was responsible for the operations, business plans, creative direction and distribution of IBM Sports Division. He rejoined IBM in 1994 as manager, Strategic Planning where he spearheaded strategy and business development for all of IBM's Hosted Services for the media industry interactive/Internet and television businesses worldwide. He created Digital Media on Demand that provided the Digital Presence for Sesame Street and the Museum of Broadcasting. Ehrlich received his master from U.C.L.A. and holds a B.S.M.E. from University of Miami, Florida.

 

Dave Cornella, Vice President of Strategic Business Develop, Deluxe Digital Distribution: Dave Cornella is Vice President of Strategic Business Develop at Deluxe Digital Distribution, a business division of Deluxe Entertainment. In his role at Deluxe, he leads efforts to expand the company's industry leading multi-screen ready, cloud-based catalog service - Deluxe OnDemand™ - to Retailers and OTT providers. Prior to Deluxe, Dave was Senior Vice President of Business Development at Sonic Solutions (acquired by Rovi), where he led technology licensing for the company's digital distribution platform and storefronts. Dave has also held senior level sales and business development positions at Roxio, Indigita, and Western Digital. Dave holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine.

 

Sudhir Kaushik, Director of Product Management, Ooyala: Sudhir Kaushik, with his team of product managers and data scientists, drives the strategy, design and development of products at Ooyala. His team is responsible for creating industry-leading video workflow, analytics and monetization products that help broadcasters and content owners create profitable digital businesses. Sudhir is a thought leader in the field of video analytics and optimization technologies. He has more than 15 years experience as a product manage and engineering manager designing and launching successful products used by Fortune 50 customers and millions of end users. Prior to Ooyala, Sudhir held product management roles at Cisco Videoscape, Yahoo and other media startups. Sudhir holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science from VJTI, University of Bombay, a masters in Computer Science from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and a MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley. Ooyala harnesses the power of big data to help some of the most successful media companies in the world, such as ESPN, Comedy Central, Bloomberg and VICE, build more engaged audiences and earn more money with personalized, interactive video experiences for every screen.

 

Gavin Goodvach, Head of Content, AnyClip Media: With over 20 years of international creative and administrative leadership experience in production & post-production,  Gavin is a multidisciplinary artistic manager. Gavin has worked with directors, artists and executives at the highest levels to ensure excellence in production and service.  Collaborating with artists from all over the world: French painters, Hollywood stars, Supermodels, high-end musicians and Israeli startup entrepreneurs. His varied, extensive  experience enables him to analyze situations from different perspectives and address challenges creatively.

Jonathan Hurd, Director, Altman Vilandrie & Company: Jonathan Hurd joined Altman Vilandrie & Company in 2006. He has more than 20 years of consulting and industry experience in communications, media and related technology sectors. Jonathan's primary areas of expertise include business and marketing strategy, new business creation and launch, integrated consumer and business services, and customer and sales channel segmentation and targeting. Jonathan's experience in the IPTV realm includes customer targeting, partner evaluation, demand modeling, and business case development. With unique insight into competitive trends and consumer perceptions about content and communications services, Jonathan works with clients to develop differentiated video strategies. Jonathan's extensive marketing background enables him to recommend product and marketing strategies that resonate with target audiences as IP-delivered video moves towards broad adoption. Prior to joining Altman Vilandrie & Company, Jonathan was a Vice President with ADVENTIS. Before that, he was a Partner in the Communication, Information and Entertainment practice of Mercer Management Consulting. Jonathan has also served as Vice President of Marketing for a computer peripherals manufacturer, and has held marketing and strategic planning positions at Lotus Development Corporation. In addition, he has served as a software development product manager in industries including financial services, computer peripherals, video game development and management consulting.
