Mr. Aft headed distribution and sales at a number of independent film companies and recently executive produced Sony's You Got Served: Beat the World. Mr. Aft served seven terms as a member of the Board of Directors of the Independent Film and TV Alliance (IFTA). He has taught film business courses at USC, UCLA Extension and Loyola Marymount University. Mr. Aft's interactions with filmmakers and industry professionals at World Intellectual Property Organization Workshops on Copyright for Film Professionals in Nigeria, Nepal, Tanzania, Thailand, Indonesia, Jamaica and Mexico were the inspiration for his most recent book, From Script to Screen: The Importance of Copyright in the Distribution of Films published by WIPO.

 

Douglas Blake has just been hired to executive produce one of the first digital portal series entitled “Parallax” for new form digital, the joint venture between Imagine Entertainment, the Discovery channel, CAA and Vimeo on demand.  It will be directed by Sawyer Hartman. In 2011 Doug Executive Produced and Production Managed The Sessions directed by Ben Lewin and starring Helen Hunt, John Hawkes, and William H. Macy. The film won the Audience Award at the Sundance Film Festival 2012 as well as a Special Jury Prize and is currently in release. Fox Searchlight bought the film for one of the highest prices ever paid at a festival. The Sessions also received nominations for Spirit Awards, Screen Actors Guild Awards, Golden Globe Awards and the Academy Awards. Doug Blake has been working in the Entertainment Business for over 30 years with hundreds of movie, television, commercial and music video credits and is a longtime member of the DGA.

 

Bruce David Eisen is the CEO and founder of HereIsTV, the web's leading provider of daily, human curated TV show recommendations. Eisen is also the president and founder of Digital Advisors, a digital distribution consulting firm advising a broad range of clients, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies that have included 20th Century Fox, Blockbuster and Technicolor. Most recently Eisen was the Vice President Online Content Development & Strategy for DISH Network where he was responsible for the strategy and implementation of the company’s on-demand, online and Internet based initiatives. Eisen launched DISH’s TV Everywhere offering, making television content available to its subscribers on a variety of devices including computers, tablets and SmartPhones.
