Ian Stewart, President, Done & Dusted Inc.: Ian Stewart devises, stages and films some of the biggest events across the planet. It's a far cry from growing up on a farm in New Zealand, then qualifying as a lawyer and ending up working as a Fund Manager in London. Ian’s work has taken him to all corners of the planet and featured most of the biggest artists in the world, but his true love is creating events from the ground up. His belief is - be creative, productive and keep the vision. He has always remembered a thing his Father said to him when he was very young - "When the alligators are snapping at your butt, it takes a true clarity of mind to stay calm and focused on your plan to go in there and drain the swamp". Ian first met well-known director Hamish Hamilton and Simon Pizey over 20 years ago at the BBC and it was in 1998 on April Fools day that they decided to start their own production company - Done + Dusted. The business has grown exponentially from tiny offices in a recently vacated 'ladies of the night' house to a production company that undertakes epic shows and events spanning the globe. Along they way there have been many nominations and quite a few awards from Grammy's, a Peabody and an Emmy to BAFTA's, Rose d'Or's as well as many others. Whether it's The London 2012 Olympic's Opening Ceremony, celebrating a countries birth for The UAE 40th National Day, or putting together the NBC Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together benefit in 48 hours, the unifying thread is that he will not accept “you can’t". As both he and Hamish have said, once you have done the biggest television show on the planet, there is simply nothing that can ever scare you again. Ian heads Done and Dusted in the US from the offices in Los Angeles.
