She has also spent the last 8 years as a marketing communications professional working with some of the world's largest and fastest growing brands like Microsoft, Logitech and Zoosk, salesforce.com. Carmen Sutter, Product Manager, Adobe Social:  Carmen Sutter is a product manager for Adobe Social, focusing on data collection and analytics, helping customers gain insights from their social marketing efforts. She is a board member of the Big Boulder Initiative, the world’s first social data-focused industry association. Prior to joining Adobe, she led the digital analytics teams at Warner Music Group and Scholastic in New York City.  A native of Germany, Sutter moved to Salt Lake City from New York City for her position at Adobe and is trying to take full advantage of the great Utah outdoors.

 

Kimberly C. Ellis, Ph.D., Creator, Dr. Goddess Arts:  As the Creator of Dr. Goddess Arts and its subsidiary, Fierce Star Media, @DrGoddess sits squarely within the realms of all things storytelling and tech, with an emphasis on women-centered and empowering transmedia. @DrGoddess is an award-winning educator, playwright, performer and activist who has had successful, national tours of her One Woman Show, produced the tour and DVD of her ensemble production, “Dr. Goddess Goes to Jail” and presently provides lecture-performances under the title, “Headlines and Hashtags.” As a consultant and digital strategist, @DrGoddess has helped many other literary, theatre and film artists better realize their visions for their projects, be they book launchings, theatre openings, tours and/or film debuts. With a focus on quality events, product distribution and digital engagement, @DrGoddess has helped her clients meet their goals and better prepare for their next adventure. @DrGoddess is a thought leader and producer in transmedia storytelling and has been a feature at several, prominent conferences. For South by Southwest (SXSW) 2015, @DrGoddess produced the Featured Session, “A Conversation with Gina Prince-Bythewood" for SXSW Film and “The Bombastic Brilliance of Black Twitter II” for SXSW Interactive. In 2013, Dr. Goddess produced a Social TV panel entitled, “#Scandal: How Television’s Hottest Show is Fueled by Social Media” for SXSW Interactive and in 2012, she produced a Transmedia panel, “Onstage, Onscreen and Online” for the BlogHer Conference in NYC. Dr. Goddess also has a radio show entitled, “Ask a Sista,” the latest episode of which featured Monet Bell from the hit show, #MarriedAtFirstSight as a special guest. Dr. Goddess is currently writing the book, “The Bombastic Brilliance of Black Twitter” and completing her first, feature and interactive, documentary film, “You’re Beautiful to Me,” about her journey with her Mother’s dementia.

 

Newton Lee, Editor-in-Chief of ACM Computers in Entertainment: Newton Lee graduated Summa Cum Laude from Virginia Tech with a B.S. and M.S. degree in Computer Science, and he earned a perfect GPA from Vincennes University with an A.S. degree in Electrical Engineering and an honorary doctorate in Computer Science. He has done pioneering work at AT&T Bell Laboratories, The Walt Disney Company, Institute for Defense Analyses, and Virginia Tech Library Systems, among others. He is the coauthor of "Disney Stories: Getting to Digital," author of the Total Information Awareness book series including "Facebook Nation" and "Counterterrorism and Cybersecurity," and editor/coauthor of the Digital Da Vinci book series including "Computers in Music" and "Computers in the Arts and Sciences." He is also the curator of the Springer International Series on Applications and Trends in Computer Science, creator of the Read Me First book series, and editor-in-chief of ACM Computers in Entertainment.
