Michelle Barna-Stern is the Social Media Communications Director at Deep Focus:  As the Social Media Communications Director at Deep Focus, Michelle is responsible for leading the team focused on social engagement, social strategy, content strategy/management/planning/creation, community interaction and influencer outreach. She is also an Adjunct Professor at New York University, where she teaches Social Media for Brand Value. Prior to dedicating her life to social media, Michelle worked in public relations, where she focused on consumer technology. Michelle also happens to fall in the category of people who truly enjoys public speaking, which she assumes is about 1% of the population. She has led workshops at organizations such as the United Nations and companies such as Johnson & Johnson. Mitchell Reichgut, CEO, Jun Group:  Prior to founding Jun Group, Mitchell headed up Bates Interactive, the online unit of Bates Worldwide Advertising, now owned by WPP. As General Manager/Creative Director, Mitchell helped grow Bates Interactive into a 70-person integrated unit, with clients such as EDS, Moet & Chandon, and Warner-Lambert.  Before joining Bates, Mitchell served as Creative Director at Think New Ideas, a leading Web development company with offices in New York and Los Angeles. There, Mitchell supervised development of major online advertising and e-commerce initiatives for Budweiser, Rockport, Reebok, Sony, Continental Airlines, and many others.  Mitchell began his career as an Art Director at Grey Advertising where he created print and television advertisements for clients such as Procter & Gamble, Parker Brothers, and Stride Rite. Mitchell wrote and directed The Scene, a 20-episode online drama that was viewed over 8 million times in 90 countries. He has published two national comic book series, and he wrote and produced an online drama for Comcast entitled Stream, starring Whoopi Goldberg.

 

Lisa Hickey is CEO of Good Men Media, Inc. and Publisher of The Good Men Project, an online multi-media, cross-platform content site and conversation asking the question “What does it mean to be a good man in the 21st century?” The Good Men Project gets 3.5 million unique visitors a month and has been talked about by CNN, The Atlantic, The New York Observer, Newsweek, Gawker, The Toronto Globe and Mail, The BBC, MSNBC, Sports Illustrated, Fox 25, and countless other mainstream media companies around the world.  Before launching The Good Men Project, the majority of Lisa’s career was in traditional advertising agencies, working, at various times, as an art director, copywriter, creative director and CEO. She has won a host of regional, national and international awards ranging from Cannes, MOMA, Clio, and The London Show for her work in advertising.  Lisa has spoken at colleges and universities including MIT’s Sloan School of Business, Boston University, Babson College, Emerson College, Mass College of Art, the New England School of Photography, Ithaca College and Lafayette College. She has given speeches and participatory workshops on the intersection of social media, publishing and technology to ad agencies and law firms, as well as WGBH-TV, Bose Corporation, Mullen Advertising, The New England Provence of the Jesuits, and The Ad Club of Boston. She was a keynote speaker at the Dad 2.0 Summit where she spoke on men and media. She has been a guest on radio and television programs. She also performs at open mike comedy clubs and poetry slams. She is the author of three books and the mother of four children.

 

Anslem Samuel Rocque, General Manager, MadameNoire:  Anslem oversees the overall strategy, growth and performance of MadameNoire as a business. He manages all initiatives around growing revenue and engagement, identifying key partnerships, overall brand performance, and staff leadership. Prior to joining Moguldom, the New York native has contributed to countless media brands, including Time Inc., AOL, Johnson Publishing Company, SpinMedia, Dennis Publishing, to name a few. With over 15 year of publishing industry experience, Anslem is a skilled thought leader in both the print and digital space who has curated award-winning and highly engaged content across both platforms. Receiving his BA in media studies from Hunter College, Anslem earned Da Capo Press nods for Best Music Writing in 2007 and 2010.  A savvy social media marketer and brand specialist, Anslem applies those skills to further advancing MadameNoire as the No. 1 lifestyle brand for women of color.

 

Susanne Bentley is a branded entertainment marketing professional currently with The Story Lab—a content agency within the Dentsu Aegis Network. She is charged with creating engaging entertainment programs for top tier brands. She enjoys finding the magic between the audience, the brand and the external world of entertainment/culture and believes everyone wins when the content creates a powerful connection between brand and consumer.  Susanne is well versed in how entertainment, advertising and media can be leveraged to create powerful consumer connections. She has held roles in both traditional and digital media firms including Hulu, Warner Bros. and Time Warner Inc. She learned the craft of brand advertising during stints at Saatchi & Saatchi and Young & Rubicam in the early days of her career.  She has been recognized for her work through numerous industry awards including Effies, Webby's, etc. Susanne finds inspiration in the ideas of others and has been known to help a few start-ups along the way.  Susanne is a volunteer with The Junior League of New York and resides in Long Island with her husband.

 

Izzy DeBellis is the Global Chief Creative and Strategy Officer of creative agency, Naked Communications, where he is responsible for all strategic and creative executions for the agency’s five global offices. He has more than 20 years of marketing experience, working with some of the world’s most prestigious brands and most celebrated agencies. His experiences cover every category  - from fashion to food to auto - and every platform - from Super Bowl commercials to SEO. DeBellis has won awards for both creative excellence and business building, including Cannes Lions, Effies, One Show, London International, Art Director’s Club, ADDY’s and D&AD.  DeBellis was previously Co-Chief Creative Officer / Managing Partner of kirshenbaum bond senecal + partners (KBS) for more than six years, leading the agency’s creative department. During his time at KBS, DeBellis was part of the team that reinvented the 20-year old agency for the modern marketing world, growing it to more than 100 million in gross revenue with 300 employees. During his tenure he was part of a team that won BMW and Vanguard Mutual Funds, the two largest accounts in the office as well a slew of smaller accounts. His efforts resulted in KBS being named one of the top 10 “standout shops” on Advertising Age’s “A List” in 2012 and one of the top 10 “agencies to watch” on Advertising Age’s “A List” in 2013.  Prior to KBS, DeBellis was Creative Director and Founding Partner of Berlin Cameron Wright, where his clients included, Volkswagen, Coke, The Washington Post, Diet Sprite, Reebok, The National Basketball Association and more. He originally joined the agency in 1995 as a Senior Writer and over the years his role and the agency changed, and he was given the unique opportunity to rebuild the business, resulting in the title of Creative Director and Founding Partner.  Earlier in his career, DeBellis worked at various agencies including Ammarti and Puris, Wieden + Kennedy in Philadelphia and Chiat/Day Toronto and New York. DeBellis attended The University of Windsor and St. Clair College, majoring in both communications and advertising.
